Why Environmental? The Hi-Expansion foam system is "Greener", biodegradable, has less water required, less retention required, and less of an impact than low expansion foam from a corrosion stand point.
All the piping and equipment for the foam systems, preaction systems, sprinkler system, and hose reel system were fabricated and supplied by Ferguson Fire. We also provided all the piping for the manifolds and to tie in the fire pumps and water tanks. The pump room piping drawings and all the pipe spool and support drawings were also provided by FFF.

Protection: 12 Hi-Expansion Foam Generators, 22,000 cubic feet/minute generators supplied by two 8" foam deluge systems, plus two 8" single interlock preaction systems providing .17/15,000 ft2, and 6 supplemental foam hose reels, in accordance
with NFPA 409.
Test: The 2-1/2 to 3 minute test was performed at night with 20-25 knot winds. The 12' scaffolds under the generators were there to gauge the height of the foam.
Witnessed by: The test was witnessed by over a hundred Continental employees, risk management personnel, Houston Fire officials, and numerous environmental personnel.
